A disturbing incident unfolded on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, involving a female passenger, Comfort Emmanson, who allegedly assaulted the airline’s crew and clashed with airport security at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos. Videos circulating on social media showed the altercation, with a flight attendant stating, “She slapped me,” and another clip depicting airport security bundling Emmanson into a vehicle after attempts to pacify her failed. According to Ibom Air, the incident began when Emmanson refused to switch off her mobile phone before takeoff, despite instructions. The situation escalated into a verbal tirade after a fellow passenger intervened and switched off the phone. Despite the commotion, the flight departed as scheduled, and Ibom Air has since confirmed the incident.
