Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has sparked controversy with his assertion that single mothers are unable to raise boys into proper men without the involvement of a male figure. In a recent interview with Okay 101.7 FM in Accra, Ghana, Iyke argued that women are not equipped to raise men on their own, stating, “A woman can’t raise a man. You’re not built for it. A single mother cannot raise a man properly.” He emphasized the need for a male influence, suggesting that single mothers seek guidance from a trusted male figure, such as a brother, father, or other male role model, in raising a boy child.
