Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, has announced his retirement as Chairman and Director of Dangote Cement’s board, effective July 25, 2025. Dangote is stepping down to focus on other key business segments, including the $20 billion refinery, petrochemicals, fertiliser, and government relations, in order to drive the company’s long-term growth.
