Microsoft Nigeria and Ghana General Manager, Abideen Yusuf, has stated that Nigeria is on the cusp of transitioning from isolated innovation hubs to establishing a thriving Artificial Intelligence economy. In a recent interview, Yusuf highlighted that AI is projected to contribute over $15 trillion to the global economy by 2030, presenting Nigeria with a unique opportunity to emerge as a global leader. He emphasized that the country can shift from merely consuming AI technology to producing it for global markets, thereby driving economic growth and innovation.
