The Senate has issued a stern warning to suspended lawmaker Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, cautioning her against attempting to forcefully resume her legislative duties before the expiration of her suspension. According to Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, there is currently no valid court order that mandates her immediate recall. Adaramodu emphasized the Senate’s unwavering commitment to upholding due process and adhering to the rule of law, underscoring the importance of respecting the established procedures governing such matters.
